A Vegas Show = A Desert Rite of Passage

Las Vegas has some serious opportunities for visitors to enjoy, and whether you’re visiting with gambling in mind, or you simply want to head to the desert and enjoy the fun, checking out a Vegas show it a true rite of passage.

This doesn’t have to be all about show girls with huge feathered hats and sequinned body suits, although there is plenty of that, because you will be able to check out some of the world’s biggest musical stars in the desert too, including Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, and Rod Stewart to name just a few who have had residencies in Vegas. Every single day there seems to be another star jetting in for a show, and if you check out who is playing where ahead of time, you may be able to see your favourite celeb in action.

It’s not all about music either, because there are some amazing productions to check out too – Cirque du Soleil currently have several shows playing at various venues across the city, including the Michael Jackson One show, and The Beatles Love. Acrobatics and seriously jaw-dropping stunts are the order of the day when you head to a Cirque du Soleil show, and there is a reason that this is one of the most popular shows on offer across the whole city.

If you love magic, check out Cris Angel’s Mindfreak, playing at The Luxor, or perhaps Penn and Teller, for those old-school magical fans.

There are simply too many shows on offer to name them all, but the bottom line is that there really is something for every taste. It’s worthwhile doing some research before you go into what is on and where, because that way you can tailor-make your break to really suit your enjoyment and interests. Of course, one area you do need to be careful is by checking out that the tickets you purchase are actually official.

There are many ticket touts on the streets who will take your cash and give you a worthless piece of paper in return; this will simply leave you disappointed and empty handed. Instead, head to the official Box Office of the hotel theatre, or head online for the best deals, using only official sites, such as Best of Vegas, for example.

If you can make sure you get tickets which are actually official, and you can find a show which is exactly what calls out to your interest levels, your time in the desert really will go up a notch.
